Update - I have found something new and amazing

 Those of you who follow my blog know that I have been fighting with my weight for many years, pretty much since I was a child until late 2017 when I finally started to win. I have summarized all the most important findings in this blog post , if you have not read it already, I strongly suggest that you do. I have always said that I'm not "on diet", my goal never was to lose x pounds and say hooray I won. no I always knew that need permanent lifestyle change and I think now, more than 4 yours since my initial success I can say it works. As you know, I have lost 50 pounds and I was quite happy about my weight. During those 4 years I have few times gained some back, but it was never more than 10 pounds. Well, I never really reached what I considered my ideal weight and that would be -80 pounds of my weight before I started all this. I was happy with 50 pounds I lost, extremely happy, but it was not where I (and doctors) think my ideal weight should be. It was like there was

Low fat low carb Christmas cookies

 Merry Christmas everyone! I know so many people who does not like Christmas, but for some reason I started to really this time of year few years back. I do not know, maybe it is because I do not stress so much about my body and all the food? Anyway I hope you are having good time and that you also like Christmas time as much as I do. Today I have for you this awesome simple recipe for low fat low carb Christmas cookies. Ingredients ½ cup  water 2 tsp  ground cinnamon 2 tsp  ground ginger 2 tsp  ground cloves 2 oz.  butter 1¼ cups  (5 oz.)  almond flour ¾ cup  (5½ oz.)  erythritol ½ cup  (1 2 ⁄ 3  oz.)   coconut flour 1 tbsp  ground psyllium husk powder 1 tsp   baking soda 1   egg white Instructions Mix the water and spices in a really small saucepan. Bring it to boil. Remove from heat and add the butter. Stir it until it is melted. The cinnamon will make the consistency a bit slimy. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Staying in shape in these difficult times

 We live in difficult time which makes it even harder for us who want to stay healthy and maintain healthy weight - many gyms are closed as well as many swimming pools and other places important for staying in shape and it is suggested or sometimes even demanded to stay at home. I have to admit that it negatively impacted my efforts to staying in shape as well and I have gained few pounds, but luckily not that much and since staying healthy and maintaining healthy weight is more about what you eat than how much you actually move I would suggest all of you to simply focus more on your diet and calorie intake. There are also thousands of videos with indoor body weight training on youtube and I'm sure if you will search for some time you will find something what will be ideal for you. So I would like to tell you guys, stay strong, keep fighting and soon this will be behind us.

Spring is coming

Hello all, another short update after really long time. I'm writing this because I have been receiving many messages on various social media about my effort and how are things now. Well, I'm happy to say that everything is good. Since last update that I have made many moths ago (almost year actually) I have managed to lose another 5 pounds and I'm maintaining my weight. I cannot say I'm 100% happy with my weight now, I still think I could lose few more pounds, but when I see how much I have lost over last 1 and half year, I'm like 98% happy with my weight. Yes I still use Phen, but only half of the amount I used to take when I was in the hardest part of my transition to healthier lifestyle. This lifestyle change was the best decision of my life and I'm pretty sure now that I will be able to keep it for the rest of my life. It just my new normal state, its not "diet" anymore, its just me and who I am.

My Favorite Summer Salad

I really enjoy this summer in "new" body and I really think the biggest reason I have been able to lose more than 70 pounds (yes I have lost another 7 pounds since last update :) is how differently i eat these days. It is truth I eat less, but only a little. More importantly, I eat differently. Very differently. As you already know, I eat much less carbs than I used to and eat much more protein and vegetables. Today I would like to share with you perfect example of such food and my favorite summer salad. Shopsky salat 4 big or 8 smaller tomatoes 1 large cucumber, unpeeled and chopped 4 green or red peppers, roasted or raw, chopped 1 large yellow onion or two smaller black pepper  1/2 cup Bulgarian sirene cheese(Balkan cheese) or feta cheese, crumbled Cut everything into small pieces and in large bowl mix it with sunflower or olive oil.
